Watch Description

I didn't find an ad for this watch. The dial and movement are signed Bulova. The inside of the case back reads "CASED AND TIMED BY THE BENRUS WATCH CO", and there's a Benrus banner in the center. The crown is signed Benrus, but it's conceivable that a Benrus crown would fit on a Bulova stem. Did Benrus provide case parts to Bulova, or did someone find a Benrus case that accommodated a Bulova dial and movement? I'm guessing it's a lady Frankenwatch.

Thanks,

TQ

It is a lovely watch and Bulova did make one similar in the 50's but this one is a non-conforming with a mix of Bulova and Benrus parts.

Non-Conforming.

I agree with non-conforming.  Still a beautiful watch but not a factory produced watch.  Thank you for posting.
