Update 10/11/2012 Changed From Unknown to Winston
1940 rather than 1930 I think. The 10AE is not around in 1930 and the stainless caseback would be out of place. I have one just like it with a 10AX and a different but design matching bracelet.

5th - this case back is the type the mvmt drops into. It is signed on the outside end adjacent to where the springbar goes through the bracelet - "Bulova Quality" on the opposite end is the s/n.

1943 GS catalog has an MX318-25 20.6x15.6 slightly bent from 12-6, flat 9-3 and names the model as "Winston". No Winstons in ad db nor watch db.
