I know little about watches and inherited this watch. I don't know how to open it. I guessed at the manufacture year because I've no idea and there was no option to indicate this, and I would have to open it, which, as I said above, I do not know how to do. The only info I can find is on the back. The number: 5045349. I assumed this is the serial number. 10k Gold Filled
A 1939/40 Bulova Patricia is about the closest I can come at the moment. The dial is different, but there were variant dials for many models.

This is what we have in the DB as Patricia https://mybulova.com/watches/1937-patricia-7769. So hard to tell with the ad quality on so many of the ads but I am thinking this might be another model.
Thank you!
What does the mark mean at the end of the word Bulova the back? Is that the same symbol that ties back to the manufacture year?

That little shield on the back is the "American Standard" mark. They produced cases for Bulova. I agree with Kathy that this is likely a 1935 based on the serial number. Still looking for a name.
I think this is a 1935 and might be an American Girl variant. I am still looking but looks like this one minus the diamonds https://mybulova.com/watches/1935-american-girl-12340
I looked and could not find an exact match.
Unknown for me for now
