Here's a neat one that is the first to match the only ads we have, dated 1939 and 1940. Case is rose gold and face is copper colored with black numbers and indices. Movement date code is a lightly stamped jumble and appears to have a shield and maybe an Omega in the mess. There are currently 4 Officers in this casing in the database, all are dated 1941, have an 8AE 17J movement and the 2 tone face with Roman numerals.
I find one ad dated 1939 and 2 ads we have are dated 1940. All show the face on subject watch. The color ads below clearly shows this configuration with a copper dial. Band is really close but not a dead match to ads. It may or may not be the original. The wear matches the case.
I suspect the Officer model was modified in 1941 with the "wartime face" and knotted style band that is seen on 3 of the 4 watches currently ID'ed..
