Love this "Mayan pyramid" Art-Deco stepped case. I serviced the movement myself and it now showing excellent amplitude at full wind (>300 degrees), isochronicity (+/- 5 s over the 200-300 degree range) and delta over 6 positions (+/- 5 s). The dial was serviced by L&S. The difficult part was fitting "strap holders" on this funky case; I used 1.2mm T-bars as shown in the picture below.

Could you elaborate on your conclusion that it's from 1939? According to the date table the crescent moon indicates 1938, although there is another symbol next to the moon.

The shield (other symbol) indicates 1939, as well as the s/n starting with a 9. Seeing double stamped movements (1 year apart) isn't uncommon. The movement was initially produced in 1938 and held over into 1939, stamped again and assembled as a 1939 production run watch.
