Bulova "Her Exellency" with "Academy Award Box" Movement "Swiss made", 17 jewels and with moon and shield marking - Case 10 K gold filled, marking BULOVA FIFTH AVE NEW YORK and serial no. 933583
it could be an American Girl "C", in any case, movement is marked 1938 and case 1939
...and the ad you link is from that time period. Snippet below.
I remember this ad (and at least one other) from this time show the only American Girl watches which are not on a bangle bracelet like the later series using same model name.
Unknown for me. The smooth oval case resembles the American Girl, but I cannot find any match for the subject watch with the ball style lugs.
Yea I'm at Unknown too.
EDIT: Looks like three panel members at Unknown as of Feb 26th Hawaii timezone.
Yeah, I'm not sure sure I see either the American Girl or the Her Excellency here. Pretty little watch, I think I'm at Unknown too.
Panel Members?
Jabs - American Girl?
Stephen, Will, Geoff - Unknown
In reply to Panel Members? Jabs - by Geoff Baker
I'd rather declared as similarity with AG, but for me it is Unknown too
Unknown also
Hello guys,
thank you very much for your effort. It is very hard to identify such small watch only according the old adverts.
