I'm guessing at the 1937 date from the arrow symbol on the movement located near the balance wheel. I think the 6AL movement was only made a couple of years in the 30's. This one is stamped 14k solid gold and has little diamonds all around the crystal. I know it looks like a few may be missing but they're not. There are a few that are a little dirty and I don't want to go through all the trouble of taking the band off to put the case in the sonic cleaner right now. I've looked at all the ads I could find and haven't found one that matches this one.
I can't make out anything inside the case back except service markings.

Pretty, but unkown.
What a beautyful unknown gal! I'm gonna check the newspaper ads again for this decade.
What a beautiful watch Alan, I hope you have a wife that likes old watches, this one must be worn. Looks like she's had plenty attention from the watchmakers over the years too.
I found this in the regular ads for 1935, is she Eleanor?

that is one beautiful watch Alan. I agree with Geoff its certainly looks like the Eleanor advert
A very nice looking watch, Unknown at this time. Dial and lugs don't quite match the Eleanor above.

Yes many more diamonds on subject watch....also diamonds around the bezel. Unknown still.
Lugs and diamond count look to differ from the Eleanor (close though). The search continues.Oh and what a nice watch this is. First time in the database.
