I brought this bulova president wondering second not long go. I found that the movement is using 10AE 15 jewel produced in 1936 which has the square mark. Can I say it been swap out from the original 21jewel movement? The case cover start from from number seven which is produced in 1937. And I wonder are both hour and minutes hands original from president watch? And the dial is too clean from the age which is 84 years. Is the dial a restore dial?

Presidents did typically house 21 jewelled movements.
However.... there is this....the Bulova Nathan Hale

Square on the movement = 1938.
The jewel count matters: 'NATHAN HALE'
imo .
*typo: the Square is 1936
Based on the case serial number beginning with 7 this is a 1937 Bulova Nathan Hale. Makes sense for a 1937 to have a 1936 movement so a factory model..
Thanks for all the verification!
1937 Bulova Nathan Hale with the jewel count being the determining factor
As an Australian, I had to google who Nathan Hale was.
Thanks for the history of Nathan hale. Hardly I seen this bulova Nathan hale appear in this mybuova.com
