Another fun restore. Came not working and dull. Dial has a touch of dirt but in no way that detracts from the beauty of the shape and deco feel of this piece. There is also a touch of plate loss on the corners of the back. To me this movement and the piece in general is in crazy nice original condition considering its age. Band is fantastic as well, the wood with gold accents is just great and a wonderfully rare find.

Mr Plains has one of these, I fitted a crystal for it awhile back, and it was not a Breton as spec'd in the crystal catalogs.

Yeah, even the crystal i used (listed above) while super close on dimensions required a little trip against the emory board.
Sorry guys, I don't see the non-matching part. Are you referring to what looks to be engraving down the sides?
