This one had eluded me for the last several months. I've finally gotten an example of this model. I love the deco style lines on the dial!! I believe this watch was the only men's Bulova that has something like this.
I've only seen a small handful (3) other examples of this model and I believe Nova has one.
I love this watch and it's definately going to be a keeper as I believe it to be one of the rarest of this era other than possibly the Knight.
It's still unknown as of yet and I've not seen anything else like it in any of the known ads. HEY... there's still a little mystery left out here ladies and gents!
I do have one, dated 1936. I measured the crystal at 26mm x 14mm--almost exactly what you got. The closest I can find to that in the catalogs I have is G-S T1216, which measures 26.2mm x 14.1. I don't find any Bulova models associated with that crystal. Anyone have different results?

Is the shape consistant with the wierd beveled look... skinny at the top and bottom?

16 catalogs and zip. I do have a glass BB T2621/141 on hand but no catalog reference to id it.
*crickets*
That is a watch that deserves a name if any of them do. I will see what I can dig up for you my friend.

How about the "FARRAGUT"? NY Post, 1937.

It certainly looks like it Bobbee. Subject watch is 7j and unknown case composition though.
Admiral David G. Farragut, 1801-1870.
"Damn the torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead!"
ooohhh... check it. First time i've seen an ad with the same dial design. Sweet!
The ad does look like it has those Mayan/Aztecan symbols at the top/bottom. Hopefully it's not Aztecan, as we may only have till the winter solstice (Dec 21st) to figure things out :)
...or am I thinking of the Mayan Calander....
