I'm thinking replacement movement, and I'm still poking around in the ads.

Hmm, it would be good to see a side by side comparison of the ad and watch. Maybe it's just the low res advert but it just doesn't look like a perfect match.

Hoping it is though.

Here's Lisa's new ad next to subject watch

Gave it a "couple of days", Will. Still no response.

There's too many things moving through the queue of recent comments.  These fall off the "recent comments page 1" and folks would have to go to previous comments to even see we have posted recently.  Anyone can submit a request to the panel for record ID's to be reviewed.  That way, w/ a "second" from panel members, these records which need updating get moved to the "pending publication" zone where they don't dissapear to the panel.  We all review the merit of the ID review, and things at least get addressed that way.

'36 Princeton, not '30.

Since the case is dated 1936, we were able to rule out "precursor to LE III" discussed at beginning of thread.  I tried to make the ad adn watch graphic "equal size" and overlay. Does the ad have two steps or three?  If it's two steps on the ad, is there an unengraved margin outside the horizontal bezel engraving patterns (not seen in subject watch)?

New Princton ad, subject watch, and an overlay of the two.

Noting that the movement is 17J, otherwise it looks like the best match we have so far.
