Yellow Metal case and band. Back of case, "Bulova" with a shield (not like any of the date codes). Serial Number then, "10K Rolled Gold Plate". Nothing inside the case back but jewelers markings. Metal band matches perfectly and appears contemporary to the watch. Bottom of clasp has a sort of triangle symbol with, ""1/20 - 12K Gold Filled", and "Pat. 2,097,055, U.S.A. The patent was issued in 1937. So this band probably was added later....Movement is clean and runs well. Dial needs the gold "numbers' re-guilded. A really nice running example. Appears to be a 1936 Bulova Beacon........
I just love the black dials from this era. I would agree with Beacon like this one https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1936-beacon-9731

If only my dial was that nice........
1936 Bulova Beacon looks to be a good match. I too love those black dial watches from the era. Just wish they were 34MM or 36MM. That bracelet is killer. Great to have it with the watch.
Nice!
