Bezel is verticaly engraved all the way down to end of lugs. Raised gilt hash marks for numerals and black tracks. Case is shaped like the American Clippers but not as long. Tracks follow the shape of case. Case back is marked Bulova O and is gold plated and is hinged. Missing hands but sub sec hand is there and tells me watch is running. I think it may have had stick hands but am not sure. As always watch has been cleaned and oiled. Once it has been identified I will know what type of hands to put on it.

looks like that commander to me.
Nice find Mark, but has different dial, batons not numbers as in the ad.
agreed Will,
Although it differs from the ad the Dial showing in the subject Watch is a very common variant in this era.
