Not sure of the model. From the triangle mark on the movement i "think" it might be made in 1935. This watch was my wife's great-grandfathers.
Sorry Bob - it's not a Senator. The Senator of this era was engraved all around the bezel. The dial was wider than this watch with the numbers 11-12-1 straight across the top unlike this dial that has the 11 & 1 slightly lowered. We have one other example of this watch in the dB marked as an Unknown. It's a bit unusual to find a 7 jewel movement in a Bulova but the 10 AR movement was used between 1935 and 1937 so I'd say it's probably original to the case. The matching example we have contains a 17j.

Yeah.. Senator was shorter and fatter. I think we're at unknown with this guy as well.
But.... I still think the Alexander may work as well.
I am at Unknown as well and agree a 7 jewel movement was unusual for Bulova.
