Possibly a Lone Eagle from 1935. The Senators didn't have the engraving.

LE has other dimensions case I come case very similar to what with engraving which have FifthAvenueRestorations http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1935-senator-2704
Dial what I found out at that time did either have dials with Roman numbers or indices, I still lean towards the variant "SENATOR".
To fat... looks more like a Senator fat type of watch.
If you look closley you an see a triangle symbol just left of the circle. I think the circle has no bearing on the watch symbol. It would still be a 35 just a different symbol. The Lone Eagle has 17 jewels and subject has 15.
I am inclined to think more along the Senator lines with Plains. We have seen a few watches with no engraving in ad but the subject had engraving and I think we gave those watches two tics.
Two ticks for 1935 Senator.

True, a triangle symbol left of the circle I faltered, but you're probably right and it will be as movement and case from 1935
To be honest this looks like the Lone Eagle case with the movement and dial from the Ambassador
model.
Numbers and jewel count would match that way.

'SENATOR'
The Dial style is found in many Models of era.
Is the case marked Bulova anywhere? I can see some similar case markings but it seems to be missing the Bulova stamp.
Also, without checking, do we have engraved Senators from this period?
engraving "SENATOR" from same year have FifthAvenueRestorations http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1935-senator-2704
case is marked BULOVA on back side
