Love the engraved stepped case on this gem. Rectangular shape with what is effectively 3 steps on each side I originally though the engraving finished at the end of the crystal but when examined under magnification, it appears the engraving had been eroded from the ends onto the lugs. There is still some evidence there supporting this. 10AN 15 Jewels, with "O" date code with 10K Rolled Gold back showing s/no 5202726. I originally thought this could be a 1934 Lone Eagle similar to Bulova 1934 Lone Eagle | myBulova.com or even Bulova 1935 Lone Eagle | myBulova.com but confused by critical issues like number of jewels. I hope it can be deciphered as by now I'm totally confused. Many Thanks.
By case S/N it is a 1935. After considerable digging, I find one watch in the data base that appears to be a dead match. Case, date, movement, jewel count and dial. It was uploaded back in 2013 and tentatively identified as a
I am inclined to believe this is a dial variant of the Senator.
