Here is a unique hinged case 1934 Bulova with a 15J 10AN It has a circle stamped on the movement and a neat Champagne colored dial with raised Gold hashmarks. The hinged case is stamped Bulova 10K RGP, and it sports a Flower brand rice bead expansion band. I have looked through the ad database and not really found anything that matches besides the Senator. Any ideas?? 9-17-11 - I changed this from an unknown to a Senator because the case, crystal and dial specs are identical to my 1935 Senator. http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1935-senator-2255 Movements are interchangable, not only was it offered with case options but also with some dial variant options. See last 3 pictures
'SENATOR'
1933 'WEBSTER' shares the same Case design but is 2 toned. - If You look at the 'SENATOR' ads post 1933 it also shows available in a 2 tone Case ('36 I think) which makes the 'WEBSTER's life very short lived, possibly only one model Year.
Senator style case with a Commentator style dial and hands.
Frankenbully or new model?
Good question, after a double check the Yellow Gold 'SENATOR' is advertised as 17Jewels.
Admin, Greg stated in his description "stamped case" so my guess would be closer to "new model" rather than "Frankenbully" or more likely movement swap?
It has a Bulova signed 10K RGP case, and as far as the movement being swapped, it would have had to been a long time ago because the dial wear and patina matches the bezel.
Maybe it is a dial variant of the Senator??
I have a 35' Senator and will compare case & crystal specs and report the findings.

I'm with you Greg, that's why I suggested "New Model" first. No way do I see it as a frankenbully.
I have one identical to what is shown in the last photo on the right: All yellow gold filled, with arabic numerals. I'll post a photo tonight.
Comparing 1934 ads only. Gregs dial looks like a 1934 Ambassador shown on the left. It is not unheard of that a jewler would swap anything a customer wanted in order to make a sale. Something to think about.

I thought of that too Wayne,
The only Ambassador in the database that has crystal mesurments is Lisa's 1935 and she lists the crystal being 23mm X 15mm which would require a longer narrower dial.
Jerin just snagged a beauty (Ambassador) the other night and when it arrives I will have him measure it to make sure.
Hmmm... perhaps a BIT late... but hereafter's a crop from the ad I posted a year(ish) ago:
Best :-) Scott
P.S. And I plan on posting this glass and a few dozen others soon, on my eBay store... if anyone needs any Bully crystals? I only have -40 up there... but have glass+ for about 150ish men's models, I think??
