So.... This is pretty unique ... There is a serial number stamped on the inside of the case... And the back of the case, and they don't match!

It's a mystery, but not unique. I think a number of cases around this period (1930s) have a dua case sn#. Why 2 serial numbers....sometrhing we have yet to investigate and solve.

Diamond setting is different to the Lady Bulova.

Both serial numbers indicate 1932.

According to this 1934 advert it is a Bulova Miss Liberty. Note the 7-jewel movement match.

1932 Bulova Miss Liberty for me.

The watch is a Miss Liberty as introduced in 1932, the year also of the subject watch. The year is identified by the serial number inside, not outside, in the same logic as previous years. As admin indicates, another mystery to solve as to why Bulova started stamping an additional number on the outside as from 1932. Can you tell me the number that is stamped inside? I see 211, and then?

I agree with Miss Liberty.  Maybe it was the beginning of them transitioning to outside serial numbers??  I guess we will never really know.
