Well... So here's a nice first even after all this time. A 1932 Bulova "Prentice", in the two tone case with matching Maxim two tone bracelet as pictured in the ad! What a great looker!

All other examples are in a 1931 case.
The 9AF seems to be the correct movement for this model, the that could be used to date to 1932, despite being in a 1931 case.
That's a beauty; gotta believe the band rates as "hen's teeth". I'm inclined to date it by the case as 1931.
