I know very little. The original owner died in 1970 and gave this watch to my Father in the 1960's. I do not know how to open it or set it. It works but needs cleaning.
This watch was given to my Father. I do not know anything about it and have not opened the case. I can only see the one number on the back of the case. It's very unusual.
Hey guy... this is a pretty sought after watch. It's a gold plated Bulova "Jump Hour". They were produced in the early 1930's and are a super neat collectors watch. Looking at your case here I'd estimate maybe 1932 for your watch.
There are a couple different variations as you can see from a post I had earlier about the model...

Parts are pretty hard to come across but if you end up getting if fixed up, you'l have a great piece of working Americana on your hands!
Congrats! Great piece.
I am not sure but I think Sabrina is a ladies name. It is most definitely a beautiful watch and definitely should be restored to it's original condition and worn with pride. If you should decide you want to sell it please PM me at JP on the message tab.

Yes it is a ladies name and thank you I will message you if we decide to sell. I did not know what the watch was, but I was sure it was special and not like anything I had seen before. I collected ladies watches when I was younger.

I have a beautiful, good running 1932 Jump Hour with the 13AT rectangular movement if you are seriously interested in one.

My name is real - that is a really great watch - I would love one of these, but they are so rare to find in any condition.
very nice watch !! ;)
is this the jump hour case that takes the 10 versus the 13 movement? was the 10AN movement a guess based on the case?
In reply to is this the jump hour case by William Smith
... and should the production year be 1931 based on the case serial number?
