For what its worth, today i bought a watch on eBay that matches Jared's. It has the XX design instead of the fish pattern, and also gold radium numerals and matching hands. I saved the picture from eBay, but I'm not sure how to post them in a comment like this. The case number is 1067649. It has a 10AN movement, but I can't make out the date code in the picture of the movement.
Anyway, fascinating discussion... Great for a newbie like me, as far as trying to figure these beauties out...
