1931 Round The World. Seems to be an unrestored face & movement. Does not have the original bracelet, which I would love to locate; good luck, I know! I believe the final digit on the Movement Serial # to be a 6, though it seems to be married to a factory indent. Hope you all can verify this is a true Round The World and thank you!
Great looking watch. Spot on for a 1931 Bulova Round the World. Good luck with finding the bracelet. They are rare as hens teeth.
Ah, yes, Mr. Baker! It was that link where I saw your watch & decided I wanted to find one. Yours illuminates SO well! I think mine is the original radium paint & past its glow state. I know people can scrape the old off the numbers & hands and repaint....
But I think mine is all original finish; so do I leave it or do it anyways? They are only original once. So, I dunno.
Thank you!
When the lume is as good as this watch, I'm in the 'leave it as is' camp.
Fantastic buy by the way.
Are we also of the opinion that the bracelet would also be 2-tone?
I believe the 4th picture down, in this link, is an original bracelet...which is not 2-tone. Who has one for sale; ha?!?!

Ahh yes, that looks to be about right. Thanks for sharing.
Magnificent
1931 Round The World
I too would leave the dial alone, it's a beauty in original state.
The subject Watch does not match the ad for the 'ROUND THE WORLD'
The subject Watch has a fully engraved horizontal bezel, the 'ROUND THE WORLD' seems to have only a partially engraved horizontal bezel closely matching the 'AMBASSADOR'.

*edit for clarification : the subject Watch is more of a match to the 'AMBASSADOR' .
ad is 1930

Ambassador was not offered in yellow/white combination = it's a Round The World.
