1920s/30s Bulova Gladiator. Had to buy parts for this watch and put it together like a puzzle because the original one I recieved had a poor dial and no hands nor strap. Personally I think it looks great now with the brown strap and blued hands, although I'm unsure of how original the blued hands are to the model. The 10AE movement seems to have been a replacement but it shares dimensions with the original 10AN movement so it was easy to source hands. I've been trying to get this watch for ages and finally managed to get one for a decent price. The movement runs great even though it hasn't been serviced
Great looking watch, thanks for sharing it. Serial number indicates a 1931 manufacture by the case serial number. Most likely a movement swap that included what I would call the 'dress dial'. I think it originally had lumed numerals like THIS one. About half the ones we have in the dB have a similar dial to yours.
1931 Bulova Gladiator (year updated)
1931 Gladiator with dress dial.
Gladiator for sure!
Beautiful watch!
1931 Bulova Gladiator
Noting the movement swap to a loweer 15J grade, the case is still a match to the unique Bulova Gladiator.
Agreed 1931 Bulova Gladiator
