A simply stunning 1930 Bulova Unknown Model in near perfect condition. This is one of those watches that takes your breath away when you first examine it. It truly appears to be unworn and unused. I typically judge condition of watches from this era by the lugs and the crown, thinking that even the most careful wearer must still wind their watch and, at the end of the day, lay it on the cupboard when he/she removes it. The original crown on the watch is in perfect condition, as crisp as the day it left the factory. The lugs and case back show no signs of wear - none. The Stanton brand bracelet has but a few a few shop marks but still clicks shut with a snap, like new. Case back is marked Bulova Quality - Pat Date 1/11/27 - There are no watchmakers marks in the case. Original, unrestored dial has some dark spots, not even worth trying to clean. This watch is remarkable. Never before seen model not found in any ads on-site. My snipe was high - crazy high, STUPID high. Final sale price, with shipping - $43USD. Deal of the decade!

You are correct, it is a breath stealer and it is sad that it is an unknown.
Very nice watch Geoff
A beautiful 1930 unknown. It's nice when you win a watch on a snipe-and the final price is way below your max bid! You scored.
Geoff, what's the inside case details look like.
Think Banker come Treasurer, but hmmm let the search begin.
Great watch!

Yes, 7 jewels, surprised me too!

If my memory serves me, The bezel is plain, this one engraved, a variant perhaps as the shape of the case really looks the same. Super watch Geoff !
Yep the Banker has a plain bezel, whilst the Treasurer is engraved, but I believe the engraving on this one differs.
