Metal link band by MAXIM - Stamped inside the case: Patent June 10, 1924, 14K - 6 adjustments - Movement was only made between 1929 and 1931 - Case designs beside dial are enameled.
Very close Geoff and probably the advert I was thinking of when I saw this watch.
Case enameling design is slightly different and the jewel count is off......I'm going unknown for now.
I just love the enameled watches from this time period. You have a nice one but Unknown for now.
Hi, and thanks.
I notice the dial has the marks of the president, with the smaller hash marks on the second hand dial, wherein the Chancellor does not.
Did Bulova do custom orders?
In trying to ID, I found another anomaly: that circle on the dial goes under the "7".
Also, the President model dial doesn't say "SWISS".
Thanks
What a great watch this is. I'm inclined to guess it is on the original band, Unfortunately, no luck for me finding a name.....yet.
1930 Unknown for now. Sorry.
Chuck, we find a couple variation on the sub seconds track, both in the shape and numbers as well as a small portion of the "6" underneath it on some of them, like yours. I love this watch and would love to give it a name but alas........
1930 Bulova Unknown
