Non Conforming , (not sure if this one is allowed! ) , bought knowing it was an attempt at a Conqueror lookalike , with a Dwelsa caseback (a 1930s watch company) and 1930 10AN Bulova movement/dial. (probably from an Envoy or Stanford? ) Case shape and engraving style are similar except for the corner scrolling design , which is like the early ad but is reversed and with no enamelling, corner cut case, being Dwelsa, is off, and a replacement crown? Anyway, although over 90 years old it is keeping time, it is a pretty watch and from a distance it looks ok!
The case certainly looks like a match! I wonder if the case back was replaced. Still a wonderful old watch.
Non-Conforming
This case design was indeed used by a number of other watch manufactures, so agree that what you have would be considered a non-conforming watch. The corner-cut Lone Eagle also didn't exist in 1930, so I think all we have here is a LE dial, a later movement and non-Bulova case.
It could certainly pass for a Lone Eagle, but alas it's Non-Conforming.
Nice, but non-conforming.
Yeah I'm in agreement. Non-Bulova replica case.
Great watch. Non-conforming with replacement case.
Updated photo with my attempt at providing the missing 'enamelling'.
