Thank you for posting the picture. As I suspected, the 5th digit is a 9. Serial number is updated.

Do you believe it is 1930 or 1940? The symbols showed 2 different possible time frames. I wonder if the stones are real?

Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your heirloom with us.  What a lovely keepsake for you to have passed down to you.  

The stones will be simulated but that does not really take away from the beauty of them and they are quite collectible.  The omega symbol and the style of the watch will put the movement date at 1930.  We do not have an ad for this watch so we call that Unknown for the ID process here.
