The single hinged CASE measures 36.5mm lug tip to tip and 26.2mm excluding the crown usingcalipers. The case ENGRAVING is similar to the 'Crusador' model above and below the crystal set but differs considerably in the pattern to either side of the crystal set. It has a polished silver DIAL with black printed outline radium style numerals, an inner minute track and sub seconds register almost obliterating the 6. The hour and minute HANDS are in the cathedral style with a blue sweeping action seconds hand. The DUST SHIELD and retaining ring are intact. and the inner case back is stamped as displayed.

It does look like Lisa's 17 jewel unknown. Nice watch, but I'm thinking still unknown.
hank you for your efforts.
Hi 2dogmatic, I like this one. I can't help but wonder why Bulova would make two different watches that are apparently so close. We've seen this with several other model variants as well. It seems like a lot of extra work on their part doesn't it? I'm also wondering if this dial type was original or if it was refinished this way.
Agree with ID, this one is Unknown. Great looking watch.
Yeah we've seen this guy before. Still unknown as far as we have adds for.
Based on this new ad I believe we have a 1929 Bulova Traymore. Ad notes this model comes in raised gold or radium markers so we have two dial options. This matches the ad font.

The Jewel count is off in the original entry, the movement appears to be 17J not 15J which matches the ad.
Good find.

The movement is clearly stamped 17J so I will update the jewel count in the profile. Thanks Fifth!
"Raised gold or radium dial" as stated in the advert. What a wonderful advert find!
1929 Bulova Traymore
1929 Bulova Traymore seems like a good match.
