Case serial starts` with 9, so is date 1929, not 1928? First number is mis-struck maybe?

I've got three of these, so I'll check them all for any sign of enamel. Sure does look a little like remnants in these photos. The case was cleaned when it was serviced, so I doubt it is grime in the recesses.

1929 ad, enhanced slightly.
I believe We're seeing Enamel to the Omega symbols on the Case bezel horizontals, matching Will's example.
