How do you photograph the lumed dial?
Camera must be on a tripod - it's a longer exposure photo. Charge the lum (hold up close to the light for a minute or two). Turn out the light and click away. I've found the total darkness in the room is a little too dark as the camera needs to be able to see something to focus on, so a leave a door open to let in just enough from the hall. I test to make sure the camera will focus BEFORE I try the photo, don't forget to turn off the flash.
I use a light tent set up, if you look close you'll see the background on the lumed photos is a different color. Believe it or not, those pictures are taken in the dark!
