Watch Description

Enameled 'snapback' Case measures 34.6mm lug to lug x 16.75mm non-inclusive of the Crown using calipers.

Caseback is stamped Bulova New York along with the case serial number and 1924 patent date.

Dial is not original imo.

A dust shield and retaining ring appears over the movement.

Strap was custom tinted, buckle signed Bulova.  

Vintage ad is dated 1928.

Very nice Croydon. You don’t see those very often. There is a digit missing in the case serial number. Can you have another look and let me know the full case serial number?

Unless Fifth has already updated the record, the case serial number looks to have the correct amount of numbers.

Dial looks to be non-original and like nothing we have seen before.

1928 Bulova Croydon based on case alone.

Yes, I missed the last numeral. 

I'm almost certain the Dial is a one off.  Looking closely the center section has been painted over in White then the gold paint added.
