Unbelieveable late 20's Ladies deco watch. Has a very Egyptian feel to it...
14k Gold with black, green, and red (needs refurbing) enamel. It's sporting a 15 Jewel, 5AP movement. Incidently the ladies name engraved on the back shares itself with an actress who would have been the right age that recently passed away. NO NOT LIZ TAYLOR! haha...
I've only seen one other example of this model and it shows the red enamel needed refurbed on mine.

Super nice, Plains. Love it.
Thanks Nova... I'm pretty happy with it. Talked to Timemachines already about refurbing the enamel on it. I'm thinking this thing is going to dazzle when done!
Why do I feel like listening to showtunes and doing "spirit fingers" all of the sudden?!
Anyone have any clue? Seen it before?
I see an "Orchid" in a 1927 that looks to have the same shape & dial, but can't make out the details good, also a couple of 1929 ad's show that same type of shape but too blurry to make them out.
That is a fine looking watch with a lot of fancy!
So you're the one who beat me out of that watch..... Go back to men's watches, Jerin!!! :) That is one sweet watch.
In reply to So you're the one who beat me by Sainttess
Errr... sorry? Hahaha.... I've had my eye on that model for a month or so. Only the 2nd one I've seen.
There was another Saintess... I think they only wanted $500 BIN for it? Toooo rich for my blood.
If I hadn't had my eye on a nice Elgin at the same time, I mighta given you more competition... heh. :)
But I did get the Elgin, so I'm not totally empty handed. You take good care of that one, get it all fixed up, and I'll just admire it from afar.
This one is still a mystery. Has anyone un-earthed anything on my lovely gold beauty here?
Whatever this is... it obviously came in White Gold as well!! Nice watch Paul!
