Dear mjneal, your watch is a very nice double barrel shaped enamel watch from 1928, recognised by the first digit of the case serial number being an 8. Unfortunately we never found an advertising of this model, hence "Unknown".

1924 relates to the patent date to the type of case and dust cover, not the watch itself.
