Late 1927 second release Lone Eagle. This is a good example to show what the original lum paint color was.
From another discussion on this site I figured that this was the second release. The other thread mentioned the closed 9 as well as the first release being only 5000.
I was very lucky when I picked this up at the end of August. was listed as:
