At long last.... it's taken me a few years... and I had to sell a couple of my guys watches to raise the funds.... but... The "Lady Lindy"! The enamel is far from perfect on her... but for such a rare watch I can look to try my hand or get it touched up professionally. She's got the same feathered lugs as our Croydon. I love this watch and it'll be a fantastic addition to my daughters collection.
Have just realised that the above Jake Gerson advert actually states the following:
"MISS EARHART'S picture and an authentic reproduction of her cablegram are enclosed with this perfect timepiece - the "Lady Lindy" - in the unique specially designed box."
Wow, so just like the Lone Eagle facsimile, there is also one for the Lady Lindy. The hunt begins!!
