I bought this watch Oct. 2013, just got it back today from servicing Jan. 23 2014. Beautiful multicolored enamel with no visable chips! Fitted with a green lizard band
Edit Alex: movement updated in line with picture from 6AP to 6AF
Wow, great choice of band Bob! Makes the enamel really pop.
Hands vary but Vassar it is.
Thanks Stephen, I agree about the band, It really makes the watch for me.
Vasser, agreed.
I'd have requested the hands be relumed, and I think I would have stuck to a black band to contrast the green enamal. In my mind it would pop more so than with the green band which seems to take my eye away from the watch.
All in all, Gorgeous watch Bob.
In reply to Vasser, agreed. I'd have by bourg01
I see your point Shawn, but the green band seams to bring out the art deco in the watch for me.
well worth the wait Mr Bruno.
In 1928 becomes the 'MISS AMERICA' and there is a database ad which states Radium Dial, although the image does not depict a Radium Dial, so I think the Hands are correct.

For curiousities sake what is the datecode of the Movement?
Splendid example of ladies watches. Vasser for sure. If you need the hands relumed PM me Bob.

Thanks John I will keep that in mind.
Mark I couldn't make out a date code on the movement. Not even with the new lupe I got for Christmas!

If We go by the Case seriel # then 'VASSAR', if the Movement is '28 then 'MISS AMERICA'
gatta love that period Art Deco eh?
I go by case s/n for myself. Here is a picture of the mvt. Maybe some of you younger guys with better eyes can see a symbol.
