I have a Bulova pocket watch that I have seen no other examples of. It was given to an uncle of mine when he was 21, believed to be in 1925.
Carter2 can you please take a look at the space beween the winding crown and the gear below it.
Here is the watch I had that shows the small circle
This 17A example also shows the circle at that position.

Thanks for the suggestion and for trying to sort the date verification out. I looked at the location you mentioned, but on my watch, there is the word "Swiss" and no date mark, as pictured...
