Man oh man have I been waiting to find one of these guys in this shape.
Early Bulova men's watch. The bezel has very overt rose buds and stems all around. Green gold in color. This guy turned 100 years old this year!

As a point of reference, these ads do not have Bulova model numbers. The 4556 is the catalog number for the reference book i found these in. I uploaded several of this Kind catalog listings because they have great photos of early watches but their are no Bulova designations in these ads unfortunately.
That ad is close Plainsmen, but it shows a sub seconds hand.
