Dear Texaslady, your watch is the 6722, called Mermaid in the newspapers in December 1924 and then Mermaid again in the Saturday Evening Post of September 1925. Although 6722 is correct, I find that such a beauty deserves a name, hence I would go for: Mermaid.
Nice to have both case versions, sold gold and gold filled.
We know that solid gold case stamping often differed from that of gold filled cases.

I have always found it, also interesting that Bulova used a variety of gold levels with their watches, 14Kt, 18Kt and 19Kt, despite usually indicating only one in their adverts.

1925 Bulova Mermaid seems to be a good match. Hopefully you can find a replacement 6W Movement for it as I don’t think it is restorable.
