This one blew me away when I found it. Such a cool early 20's Bulova in an American Standard 19K case, decorated with a butterfly at each corner and maybe a bouquet in the middle of each lug filigree hood. The sides and back of the case are classic Bulova design we see repeated throughout the 1920's on other ladies models.
Looks like the 17 J, 6PP.I. movement predates the date stamps.
Second number in these early ones at times indicate the year. I'm good with 1923.
A really unique piece.

I would date this to 1923.

Yep second number for sure.
Kathy pointed this one out. Pretty close...

It is even more beautiful seeing it with your photos! Love the butterflies, so lovely. I am glad you found this beauty so we can all appreciate it. So many 18K watches must not have made it to today. Alex's book has so many I have never seen.
Now that you have enlarged that ad it might indeed be it.
Here is another ad from The Beatrice Daily Express 29 Sep 1923 that shows the detail more. I think that is it!

1923 Bulova 6724-F
This is a wonderful find! Never seen it before. It is the 6724-F from 1923.
Agreed, an amazing watch and an apparent ad match. Well done, Kathy. I think you nailed it!
