Marked on movement as 3adj. Bulova WC. Swiss. And also has a triangle with the number 21 in it. Also says 14k gf on sterling on the watch clasp. It does seem to work when I wind it up. I am no expert at all.
Thanks for the extra pics/explanation!
I agree with the date and name now, 1921 LM in a rare unengraved cushion case.
I agree, it's all Bulova and certainly a 1921 Lady Maxim. Added photos are just what we needed.
Slindley2012, I think your fortunate to have this lovely keepsake from your Grandmother, I hope you have fond memories of her as well. I'm a big fan of heirlooms, this is a wonderful example, congratulations.
I know we can't discuss price but I am afraid to list it on eBay without knowing what to expect. I really am clueless on this. How can I go about finding this info? I have tried to find similar watches but am not having any luck. Sorry to ask this on te forum.
The Triangle in the Movement Symbol field is not referring to a date code, but another symbol we see on some of these early movements . Other examples are usually little trapezoids or triangles w/ some number(s) inside. The Bulova W. Co sig indicates the movement pre-dates the known date code system. Maybe we change from Triangle to None?
Edit: I think I'm seeing the globe on the inside case back?

Agreed. I've update the record.

By case s/n this one should be a 1920.
