Marked on movement as 3adj. Bulova WC. Swiss. And also has a triangle with the number 21 in it. Also says 14k gf on sterling on the watch clasp. It does seem to work when I wind it up. I am no expert at all.
Case front (bezel) appears to be a very poor fit, is it just badly refitted or a bad fit to the case?
Movement holder and case back look like green gold filled, bezel looks white gold filled and has a little wear on the corners.
Not sure without verification, but I am thinking it could be made from several different watches.
Bob.

That or the back case lid is simply askew and the difference in gold colour I would simply put down to glare. I'm not seeing anything wrong with this watch.
100% Lady Maxim for me. Who would coble this up...and why....it's all genuine to me??
Now to determine the year. (Case is dated 1920, but we all know my thoughts on this, so it could be dated somewhere from 1921 to 1922.
Hi Slindley, welcome to myBulova. This era of Bulova watches is difficult to date and name as most of our information on Bulova post dates ( is newer than ) your watch. It is possible that your watch is a Lady Maxim but Bob raised a couple of good questions. Is he bezel ( the front part of the case around the dial) yellow or white gold? In the photo is appears white but that might be photo glare. Is it possible to get a different photo of the front? Maybe a straight on shot taken back an inch or two further from the first one you posted here?
Right now, my ID would be tentative Lady Maxim.

I have changed a few pics so hopefully that will show this watch a little better.
It does seem to be the yellow gold color, just worn down it looks like. It is hard to show that in the pictures.
I am no expert, but it does not seem to be parts of different watches put together. Just my humble opinion. It all fits real nice together and opens and closes just as it should. It all seems to fit together nicely as I would expect an old watch to do. They really did great work back in the day.
Also, this watch was from my great grandmother's collection that was handed down to my mother and then to me.
LM, now the question is the year? Case most likely dates to 1920. I'm good with 1921 or 1922 for a date. Movement database shows start year of 1921 for AAI.
