I've been searching the Web, E-Bay etc for a 1948 movement for spares for my watch. The part I was looking for is the " Bulova Stamped Button" which was on the watch when I received it over 30 years ago, however those that I found were unstamped.
The nearest I found was a 7 AK movement vintage 1949 with a stamped button, but not a Duncan judging by the Dial and I tust this will be a suitable replacement.
When I posted my watch on the site one of the panellists felt that the 1948 Duncan had a plain button, and this may well be correct. I would wecome member views and knowledge on this, with maybe a difinitive time scale that the stamped button was introduced.
Thank you, Legsrooney.
