Hello, I am new here and I would like to know if this watch is dated from 1928 or 1938. Also, is the glass on the back of the movement original?
The movement has a serial number, so I would say it's 1928. The celluloid dust cover is an original feature. Seeing the case would help.
Bulova was no longer serial numbering movements in 1938. The cast housing and dust cover also suggests it's 1928 as well.

I suggest you submit this beauty through the "add a watch" function and provide a good front on shot of the watch assembled,. one of the inside of the case back along with your current movement and face photos. That way we can attempt to ID the model name as well as the year of the complete watch.
