I have a 10 AX that winds, runs, doesnt set...Ideas?
The setting lever is possibly loose, broken or missing setting lever spring or the lower teeth on the clutch wheel worn. The problem will be in the setting mechanism. Look at the movement closely when setting and see if parts that are supposed to move, don't move. Might also be a broken square end of the stem (unlikely, but possible). You may have to remove the hands and dial and look from that side to see.

You'll need to remove the hands and dial to get a good look at the setting mechanism. A common cause is when the crown and stem have been removed, the yoke can slip out of the grove on the clutch wheel. Only way to get it fixed is to remove the dial.

Just had one come in with a similar problem. Look to see if the winding clutch wheel is 180 degrees out of proper position. It apparently happens when the stem is removed allowing the clutch wheel to drop and when the stem is re-inserted, the clutch wheel will pivot and reposition itself 180 out on the stem. The proper position is with the ratchet face towards the crown, and the geared face towards the movement.
