Starting a forum to share ephemera (vintage paper) finds detailing with the early days on Bulova.

I'll start off with this wonderful recent purchase.

It's a letter dated March 14, 1922, on J. Bulova Company letterhead from Arde Bulova to one James D. Leys of Butte Montana. I'll let the letter say the rest.

Leys was a major jeweler in 1922 and many watch and jewelry manufacturers were reaching out to do business with them, including Bulova. There is plenty of information online about the Leys jewelry business.
 
The letter mentions a Mr Adrams (Far west Sales) and Mr Scheibel (Sales Promotions Manager) and is signed by Arde Bulova.
 
Something I plan on framing and hanging next to my collection.

Dated 1924 is this order form.

If I am reading it correctly the style #'s suggest they were available both engraved and non-engraved yet retain the same #.

*Also of importance: the engraved selections are numbered 3,4 etc suggesting the style #'s were available in different engraving patterns.
