Crystal for 1948 Mary Lee

Submitted by Bluser53 on

I was joining the Mybolova last night. Took a photo of my Mom's watch. I awoke this morning and somehow the crystal fell off. I have searched and can not find it... Boo Hoo... The watch works perfectly and I would like to pass it on to my Daughter. Not sure what the watch costs... but don't want to spend a fortune on the replacement... if it is even available... any info where to obtain one??  Thanks or letting me join the group...

may you please provide the measurement with a caliper ? it will help a lot and a picture of the fallen crystal to see his shape.

I inquired to several watch repairers in my city... and so far, 3 of they said they could replace the crystal.

Does that mean the crystal should still be somewhere near where you took the photo? A crystal shouldn't be to hard to find.

I spend 2 hours the other day looking for a single screw. Found 3 of the 4 but not the last one.

I looked all around the desk that I work at and took the picture... got on my hands and knees and swept the floor.. our dog may have thought it was a treat. No Problem... I found several places in town that can replace it.. Thanks for the concern...

Assuming this is the watch in question?
