Hey All,
New to the forums, I have a 1962 Yankee Clipper thats in need of some repair/restoration.
I haven't submitted it to the "My watches" section here yet, as its not "complete" .
It needs a crown, stem, O-ring and Case Back Rim. Movement works though !! (11AFAC)
I've been having a hard time looking for the right size Back Rim for the watch, the watch case is 31mm without the crown and the case back itself is 28mm. I've trolled the internet for months, the smallest Case Back Rim I can seem to find is 30mm Part # BR6...this seems slightly too large though....taking out my micrometer it seems about 29mm would do the trick...
Could someone guide me on the size of the Case Back Rim I would need for a 31mm case or even a part #??
Thank you,
Bee

There is a case inscription.
Looks like a date stamp though.
01-6-77 ... the zero is written as a triangle but I assume its ment to represent a "0" .
I did find this watch for sale online: Bulova Self-Winding with Bold Lugs, Manual, 31mm – Vintage Watch Restoration
Its not a Yankee Clipper but it is in a 31mm case, and the case back on that watch has a case # of 2062.
Not sure if I should assume the case back ring for this case back would be the same size as the one I need though.

Thanks again for everything.
BIG help.
I found the crown on ebay and found an uncut stem that according to the interchange catalog should work.
I'm having a tough time finding this gasket though, or interchange info for the gasket.
I found on this website a reference to gasket g856 for a g776:
Bulova GASKETS Watch Movement - EmmyWatch
I hate to continue asking for your help but do you have a go to supplier for purchasing gaskets or a lead on the one needed?

I really appreciate you checking.
Still haven't been able to find any g776s but I went throug the yankee clippers here on the website and saw some of the gaskets going in them and was able to take a stab in the dark at the inside and outside diameter of the gasket, found a few after market watch flat gaskets online that I'm going to see if I can't make work.
