Hello Watchnovice, welcome to myBulova. I don't think Bulova did a red dial so it's likely that at some point yours was refinished to the red it is now. It's quite common to add these rather striking colors to vintage watches, I think yous really looks good. I agree that your watch is the Duo Wind model from 1957. With proper service it should give you years or reliable service. thanks for sharing it.
