A little back story on this watch. This belonged to my father. He wore it as a daily with an occasional change to something that struck his fancy. Then would return back to a daily wear again. I am certain that he purchased it new, and probably in Monmouth Illinois through a local jewlery store. He, at some point, had a Spaceview to which as the kid I was, thought how cool is that! I don't know if that was a 'loaner', try & buy, ? -All I know is the Spaceview went away and this one became permanent. (I don't recall the Spaceview being in his possession very long). Again this was his daily watch, up to his passing in 1992. Coming into my possession '92.
It took several years for me to overcome my 'difficulties' of wearing it myself. I had the battery changed a couple times, then had it removed and 'mothballed' for 7ish years. Being in IT field, year 2000 (Y2K) stirred up and resurrection of several items. So in 2000 a trip to a local Bulova jewler for a clean and battery. Since, I've been wearing less than daily, but often. More of being my 'pretty boy' go out to dinner, movie, etc time piece.
